Shiv Bhushan Tripathi

I am a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Kanpur, working with Dr Debadatta Mishra. My research interests lie in the dynamic and ever-evolving domains of operating systems and computer architecture. Currently, I am focusing on virtualization, specifically container-based systems, where I explore optimization techniques for live container migration—a critical capability for ensuring service continuity and improving resource efficiency in modern cloud computing environments.

In the rare moments of free time, I enjoy reflecting on nature (which I hope will spark new ideas—though it hasn’t yet) and writing Kavita* (poetry).
